How will we use Social Value?
LOD will
1. Review our procedures to ensure that social values are considered
2. Establish objectives and targets annually
3. Engage with workers to encourage participation
4. Contribute to our business plan bringing together relevant work streams from HR, marketing and communications workers consultation organisational development and the senior leadership team.
5. To realise our Social Value objectives, we recognise the need for and are committed to communicating these objectives to our suppliers, potential and existing workers and customers. This is achieved via our procurement and recruitment processes and our existing communication channels including the Business Plan, intranet, newsletters, team briefings and staff induction processes.
Governance, Measurement & Reporting:
This will be monitored monthly where relevant as part of our ongoing reporting, and the progress of this target reported on as part of the annual management review meeting so areas of improvement to be identified for LOD to maintain its continuous improvement of standard, efficiency, and effectiveness.

The Chief Executive of LOD is responsible for the development and effective implementation of this Policy and for ensuring that the necessary resources are provided for its implementation through our processes.
